Pomacanthus arcuatus

Distribution: Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.

Descriptionn: Size 30 to 40 cm
The body color is silvery blue dotted with small black spots; around the mouth is light blue.
The interior of the pelvic fins are yellow. Anal and dorsal fins are silvery blue solid color.

Habitat: This fish is often seen alone.
It can be observed up to 90m deep, but in view of its power, it is frequently encountered on the reef flat near the fire corals.

Food: Coral, crustaceans, sponges, tunicates and some algae.
