Distribution: Originally from the Indian Ocean, it is also found in the South Pacific, Red Sea. Housing:It lives in shallow outer reef habitats. Description:The whole body is gray-pink, yellow lips are overcome, in the top of a blue stripe and a brown-black band party. Eyes are surrounded by a large red circle; on top of the head is struck three blue stripes alternating with three black stripes. The back of the body is striped with three black stripes that end at the beginning of the caudal fin. It a life expectancy of 15-20 years. Feeding: Picasso triggerfish feeds mainly invertebrates and algae reef; flexible in its potential feeding, it also eats crustaceans, molluscs and fish. |
