Distribution:This fish is found in the Western Atlantic Ocean: Bermuda, southern Florida (USA) and throughout the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea to southern Brazil. Description:The base of the eye to the caudal fin, the upper body is purple, the lower body from the mouth to the tip of the tail is yellow. Housing: lives on the rocky or coral reefs. Feeding: Starfish, crustaceans, molluscs and sea urchins vulnerable. |
