Distribution: Red Sea, Northern Indian Ocean, Gulf of Aden. Housing: Upper part of the coral shelf to a depth of 15m. Description: Live often in pairs, size: up to 15cm. He wears a black band across the eye part, common to his group. Differs from other Chaetodon a white dress striped double oblique black stripes. The common name Chaetodon auriga dorsal filament from a compound of the fifth and sixth filament of the dorsal soft, the "wire" is growing with the increase in size of the individual. Food: Mostly soft corals. |
