Distribution: Fish endemic to the Red Sea.
Fish of medium to large size (30 to 50 cm, sometimes more) with a horny beak blue.

Description: It has large cycloid scales, a bright yellow dress, a caudal fin diphycerque kind, a thin blue line around his body.
Cause ciguatera fish (food poisoning) as a vector of ciguatera toxins acquired through diet.

Habitat: It lives in shallow waters (3-50 m), around coral reefs. Occurs often alone and still grazing the coral.

Food: Coral reef benthic organisms, including the dinoflagellate, which is the cause of food poisoning.
