Distribution: Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Habitat: depth between 4 and 20 m.

Description: Often seen in pairs or in groups. Its size does not exceed 25 cm.
Also called yellow or fish butterfly mask as a black spot mask a part of the eye and cheek. The body is orange-yellow streaked with red vertical stripes orange.

Food: Feeds on benthic invertebrates.
