Distribution: Indian Ocean, most often encountered between Reunion and Mauritius.

Description: The color is dark blue, the body is surrounded by a white line bordered on both sides by a black line going from the head to the tail through the eyes.
The top of the body as a whole is dotted with white spots, while the sides and belly are solid color. The mouth is surrounded by a white line and dotted with white spots.

Habitat: reef species, generally moves only in shallow waters.  

Food: They are omnivores (invertebrates, small crustaceans, molluscs, algae and sponges).
