Distribution: Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Pacific, Caribbean Sea.

Description: They are characterized by a rectangular shaped. Its size is about 15cm.
The mouth is protrusible and teeth are welded into a plaque. Is directed toward the lower body.
The dress is blue, dotted with black spots. The top face is yellow, slightly greenish.
They are hermaphrodites, they are born female and male character during their growth, they are protogynous species.

Habitat: reef species, generally moves only in shallow waters.
They are slow but very mobile. Under stress, they can secrete a dangerous toxin (the ostracitoxine) for other fish.

Food: They are omnivores (invertebrates, small crustaceans, molluscs, algae and sponges).
