Distribution: Indo-Pacific: Red Sea and East Africa, Marquesas and a line that goes to the north to southern Japan south to Australia.

Habitat: Coral Reefs. Frequently found in large aggregations around the coral formation, caves or wrecks during the day.

Description: Size entre15 and 20 cm. The body color is lemon yellow dotted with blue diagonal lines, the fins are yellow and the lips are blue.

Food: fish, shrimp, crabs, stomatopods and cephalopods and planktonic crustaceans.
